Why blue light screen glasses?
We live totally surrounded by screens, spending almost nine hours a day, on average, in front of digital devices. Besides all that extra exposure add all the exposure to natural daylight and artificial light. We receive natural light throughout our sunlight hours, whether we want it or not. Artificial light is generated by artificial sources, such as incandescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), LEDs, etc. All these phenomena emit blue light, and since our eyes are not protected against this overexposure, the light is mortal detrimental.

Shelter lenses have a coating developed with the best technology in labs for people who spend a lot of time indoors or outdoors and are exposed to the blue-violet light and LED incandescent artificial lights from house, office, etc lights. Do not forget about the extra blue light from our digital devices like phones, TVs, videogames, tablets.
Our lenses block 40% of the blue light on the 430nm - 450nm spectrum, and 100% of the blue light at 410nm, which means your eyes will always be protected.

shelter frames
Our frames are made from super light polycarbonate 100% Cellulose Acetate and they only weight 0.80 OZ for our Spiculus Collection.
For Commodus Collection we use 100% Stainless Steel. Well-known for its malleability, hypoallergenic, heat and corrosion resistance.
For Flamma Collection we use Cellulose Acetate (CA) and Stainless Steel (SS). Acetate is a premium material, and much preferred over regular ('cheap') plastic or any other materials as also TR-90.
Regarding the details, they have flexible German hinges & temples for easy adaptation to any face shape.
